Tseng has had 25 years of experience with mechanical injection molding and tooling. As of today, he has been with Megaforce for around 8 ½ years. At Megaforce, he in charge strategy sales, OEM/ODM Medical Device Sales, and various aspects of Tooling.  

What are the things about Injection Molding and Tooling that clients should know?

1. We have various types of tooling for injection available: Megaforce has various types of tooling for your plastic injection needs, including the two plate (standard molds, most common), three plate (automatic stripping runner), and hot runner (complex structure, saves runner materials). Each tooling type has its own applications and ranges in pricing. Depending on your needs, Megaforce will work with clients to find the best type of tooling method for their needs.

2. There are a few common cosmetic issues that customers should be aware of: The most common cosmetic issues that customers have to deal with in regard to injection and tooling are 1) sink marks, 2) flash, 3) flow lines, 4) silver streaks, and 5) under injection. Megaforce MedTech works and communicates with our clients to ensure that their products will be high quality and free of those cosmetic issues.

3. The tooling manufacturing process is often extensive: Our tooling manufacturing process is quite detailed and extensive to ensure the quality of your products. Our process starts with mold design and ends at the mold trial.
