Our company wants to provide support for those entrepreneurs through our Solution Hour program to provide one-on-one consultations to create more success together. This article is part of our solution hour series to interview our experienced and knowledgeable experts in Megaforce to discuss questions that entrepreneurs may have for industry experts.

In this article, Caeson Lin, Ph.D., Operations Director of Biomedical Business Unit at Megaforce Company Limited joins us for an interview about the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Process.

Hi Caeson, can you give us a quick self-introduction?

Hello, I am Caeson Lin. I am currently the Operations Director of Biomedical Business Unit at our company, and I have over 15 years of experience with the QA/QC operations process.

How do we receive and process client requests?

At the beginning of the process, a client’s request will be received and processed by Megaforce. During the request and contract management procedure, how we will respond to and record the client’s needs, requirements, or any special requests are clearly defined. It is important to know that the types of requests that we expect to receive from clients are usually either CMO or CDMO cases.

What is the difference between CMO and CDMO cases?

If a client requests a CDMO case, it will go follow both product design and development verification procedures and management of purchases and outsourcing procedures. If a customer requests a CMO case, it will skip the product design and development control procedures and dive right into the management of purchases and outsourcing procedures. However, no matter what type of request a client makes, the next step in the process is that we must enter risk management. This will involve various departments to assess the risk of this project, including departments such as quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing, SI, NPI will be involved.

What happens after the management of purchases?

After the management of purchases and outsourcing procedures comes the product protection and storage control process. Whatever outsourcing we did or any product that we bought will be inspected and then processed to be stored in our storages. Our storages have its own set of quality regulations that it follows, including Environmental, health, and safety control procedures, such as our required humidity and temperature in our storages. We are very capable of taking care of and satisfying our customer's requests.
